Almost!
Nana and Papa are here along with Aunt Leslie and Uncle Jon this weekend, in town for a visit and for baby dedication day at church tomorrow. Everyone had traffic delays getting here Friday night but that didn't stop anyone from oogling and ogling over Mark when they got here and having plenty of fun after he went down for the night!
This morning Mark got up at around 5:45 and Nana took him to their room and let us go back to sleep. She fed him, then she and Papa played with him until he went back to sleep. They had a blast and we slept for another 2.5 hours! It was wonderful!
Then we hung out and had breakfast, taking turns holding Mark and just seeing how cute he is and how well he's doing on the hypoallergenic formula. It is wonderful. He is getting back to the happy and somewhat consistent baby that we had for about half of his life so far. Then the boys left to golf and the girls got the little man ready to go out and we hit up Kohls to get me a cute shirt for church tomorrow and also to get Mark some khaki pants to go with his polo onesie to wear to church tomorrow. I threw in a very cute pair of shoes as well (Mum, these will be the ones we want bronzed!). Don't worry, we'll take LOTS of photos tomorrow!
After we came home I went to change his diaper (another reason I'm ready to get off of this formula - GROSS!) and he was so happy laying down that we just let him lay on the floor a bit and he ALMOST ROLLED OVER, from his back to his front. There were several times he almost had it, he was teetering on his side but his arm kept him from going all the way and we were cheering him on, but he just wasn't getting it. We're going to give him another opportunity tonight, and we'll have the video recorder ready!
He has just been so good today and I'm so glad. We're taking lots of photos and so don't worry, there will be more photos up here soon!
