Tennessee Christmas... part 1

Today we took the little man to see Santa in Jonesborough. It was so fun and cute!
Mark got his photo with Santa and with both of his parents, then got to play on some historic props like the stocks, and a canon... well, you'll just see here when you get to the photos...




Clearly, its a natural progression from Santa photos to getting your photos taken in fake stocks... right? Or is that just here...

you know you're a mom when...

i have started a list of "you know you're a mom when..." things that i have started to notice about myself... and lucky you, i'll be sharing them on the blog :)

here's one i've noticed now that its gotten cold out -
you know you're a mom when you start reheating beverages in the microwave. so far i haven't put them in and forgotten about them, but i'm sure that's not too far off :)

The Exersaucer

Joel & Rochelle brought down Andrew's exersaucer for Mark to borrow. He LOVES it. He pushes the buttons and grabs things and tries to eat just about every piece of it. However, periodically, for no apparent reason, he does this thing when he puts his arms down into the seat of the exersaucer and does nothing at all - and apparently loves that as well. He looks so cute, and its just so funny, we had to share!

Photos from our trip

This past weekend I went to Phoenix to photograph a dear friend's wedding, but sadly, had to leave my boys behind :( The three of us hit the road on Thursday for Charlotte, where we spent the evening with Auntie, and then Friday morning the boys dropped me off at the airport and they stayed the weekend in Charlotte with Leslie and Jonathan so that Leslie could help out and spend some quality time with the Markster :) I was back on Sunday at 1 pm, so exhausted but happy to be back with my fam. We left Mon morning after a quick stop to visit Auntie at work (and return her apartment keys!).
